BSF Air Wing Recruitment Age Limit :-
- HC/Constable : 18 to 25 Years
- Other Posts : 20 to 30 Years

BSF Tradesman Recruitment Education Qualification :-
Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) & Assistant Radio Mechanic :
- Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; OR

- Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.
Constable Storeman :
- Matriculation pass with Science; or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must have two years working experience in store or warehousing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization or any company or private firm or Institution.

OBSF Engineering Set Up Qualification :-
Sub- Inspectors :

Junior Engineer/Sub-Inspector (Electrical) :

HC (Plumber) :
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
HC (Carpenter) :
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
Constable (Generator Operator) :
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Goverment.
Constable (Generator Mechanic) :
- Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/ Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Constable (Lineman) :
- Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical Wireman or Lineman and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
