• Questions will be of objective type with multiple choice answers.

• There shall be negative marking 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
• Minimum pass percentage for eligibility: UR & EWS – 40%, OBC (NCL) – 30%, SC – 30%, ST- 25%.

• Shortlisting of candidates for CBT-2 shall be done RRB-wise and community-wise as per their normalized marks and merit in CBT-1.
• Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for CBT-2 shall be limited to 15 (fifteen) times the number of vacancies notified against each RRB. RRB Technician Syllabus 2024

• CBT-2 shall comprise of two parts Part-A and Part-B as detailed below.
• Part B : Qualifying Percentage -35% for all candidates irrespective of category/community.
• Normalization of marks will be done for CBTs held in multiple shifts.
• Minimum pass percentage for eligibility: UR & EWS – 40%, OBC (NCL) – 30%, SC – 30%, ST- 25%.
